dilating with no contractions??

So here's my question has anyone else dilated pretty far with almost no contractions? I guess my other question is if you dilate to an excessive amount with no contractions what then like at this point I'm at 5cm at least 50% effaced fromwhat dr said...what if I get to seven will they finally realize this baby might be coming with out them? What's the protocol for something like that lol. I knowits a really odd situation

Technically your still having contractions just not feeling them. Our hosp admits at 4 cm usually or sooner if the pain is un bearable. Etc. I dilated to a 3 with no contractions.

With my last pregnancy I didn't feel any contractions and when I went to appt was 5cm they sent me to L&D immediately where I was admitted and spent day hooked to stress test where it showed i was having contractions but couldn't feel them. Usually they admit you once you hit 5cm.
