Im experiencing the same EXACT problems as you. Tomorrow i will be exactly 28 weeks and i cannot lay down comfortably at all, i feel like im gasping for air so i have to start sleeping sitting upwards. My husband cant hug me becausr i feel like im suffocating. Im sure its all because our uterus is crowding our lung space. Sitting upwards helps me alot

I feel like that even more and more everyday and also makes me panic a little too. I feel it more after I eat so I have to eat very little. I'm already 35 weeks and can't wait for it to be over bc of this too. Good luck I hope you feel better

I've been having this symptom since about 10 weeks. I'm now 30 weeks and still have it on and off. Some days are a lot better than others but as soon as you get that suffocating feeling, it's the worst thing ever. I have been to doctors and also had to be assessed at the hospital, they checked for blood clots as they can sometimes travel from your legs to your lungs and make breathing difficult (this is very rare), and that all came back clear. I have accepted it's just part of pregnancy and must be because all your anatomy inside changes when you have a growing baby and uterus inside of you. I find the worst thing you can do it lay on your back and also that it is a lot worse when you have a full stomach so try not to eat large meals. It seems to be unavoidable and like there's no quick fix, but when you feel it coming on try and sit as upright as possible and make sure there's a fresh air source close to you. I hope it subsides for you soon. I can't wait to have my baby and get back to feeling normal! All the best.
