dogs sensing labor?

Can dogs seance their owner going into  labor? My female dog has been acting odd. Constantly following me and laying by my feet. Today shes been drooling so much and only leaves my side to run outside to go to the bathroom ... im 39 weeks+1 day. I cant imagine shes sick she acts frisky and wants to play..

I just had a feeling she was sick then it hit me.. maybe she is sensing something about me. I feel fine. But she seems so nervous and im so very calm.. well its deffinetly making me curious for sure

Yes my dog did the same thing with my last one. Within the next day I had contractions

My dog has been the same way since yesterday she's normally loveable but isn't clingy last night she followed me around everywhere when I was sitting outside she lightly jumped up on my lap and place her paws on my belly and rested her head she's even been following me to the restroom I was curious if she knows something I don't ....

Well shes not usually clingy.. but shes been drooling uncontrollably..she never drools. She needs to go outside a lot its like shes nervous so Im not sure if shes sick and wants to be near me or she can sence something may happen to me and doesnt want to leave my side.

Yes I believe they can. I know dogs have extremely sensitive noses (they can even smell cancer!!) So she probably knows something you dont. Lol at least your dog pays yoy attention. Ive got a 4lbs chihuahua and he could careless what ive got going on.
