We have two dogs. One of which we have had for about 8 or 9 months and the other i have had for 7 years. Far longer than i have had my husband and we have been best friends his whole life. Now i am 33 weeks pregnant  and the dog i have had for 7 years suddenly has no interest in me. He is attached to my husband.. which has never been  the case. And our newer puppy is attached to me. I mean constantly needs to be on my lap, sleeping as close as possible to me.. has this  happened to anyone with multiple dogs? I hate to admit it but i am kind of sad that my older dog isnt attached to me anymore!

I have 4 dogs and all act differently to me being pregnant. At first they were clingy then they were distant now at 34 week they are clingy again to both my husband and I. Our small dogs are really protected of my bump so hopefully it will continue.

Maybe your dog can sense your pregnant and is scared that he may hurt you or something.  Maybe he's trying to be careful. I wouldn't change anything your doing, still give him tons of attention and love. Good luck!  ♡ :)

Your dog can smell the difference in your body. Hopefully he will become attached to you again, but this at least will give you the space you need to bond with your child when baby arrives.
