Is anyone else doing Clexane injections? Or similar. The are daily injections into the top lair of fat on my stomach, the are meant to reduce my risk of blood clots.

You can inject them into any fatty tissue, under side of arms or back of thighs works well as belly does.  P.S. I'm a nurse, we give these injections all the time to reduce risk of blood clots while people are in the hospital.  Just make sure you are getting it into the fatty tissue and not the muscle or the medication won't absorb correctly, pinching the skin up will help ensure this and can sometimes help with the bruising as well. Good luck!! :)

Is that medication similar to lovenox . I take lovenox injections once a day and baby aspirin daily to prevent clots. Lovenox are pretty measured shots that are injected into the stomach.

I would call your doc and ask them. I know sis in law had to change hers several times too. She did one in the thigh, too. Good luck.

I think my sis in law did them, not sure if it was the same prescriptions as yours, but she also had a blood clot and needed injections.
