Especially if you don't want to spend a fortune buying them!
It depends on brands too because everything is measured and cut differently.. even in pregnancy clothing im a medium to xlarge depending on store (and I weigh 82kg). Definitely agree with maxi skirts & dresses. Best inventions ever, especially cos I find most pregnancy-specific clothing items are a bit bland on the fashion side
Invest in a couple good maternity pants. Those go by prepregnancy weight and they last the whole pregnancy :) I recommend the ones with the long elastic band around belly. Motherhood Maternity has some good sales.
I love Yoga pants. They fit nice dont look like sweat pants, though I wear sweat pants and jama bottoms as well. The nice thing about the yoga pants is most have a band that you can pull up over your belly as you grow. I also got some belly bands from dollarramma, they worked great. I also liked wearing loose flowing sundresses with leggings. Actually talking of cloths I needed a belly support inmy last 2 pregnancies so I know I need one for this time round. About 2 weeks ago I saw that walmart had some. though last night I couldn't find them so I grabbed a few pairs of belly suport underwear. I hope it works.
I bought a belly band. It works great for awhile then my pants dug into me so much looked like I was still wearing jeans after I took my jeans off. I bought no maternity clothes.. baby #4 and just doesn't seem worth it. Ive been living in stretchy pants and recently bought 3 adorable maxi skirts! I want more their comfy and cute :)
Usually things go by prepregnancy size. Read reviews. People will usually talk a lot about sizing in them especially on Amazon.
I know if you wore a size LG before pregnancy that you will be a large in maternity clothes or at least I was told so
