I'm having the same problem. I'm 5wks how far are y?
I had (and still sometimes have) dry lips too.. I'll be 25 weeks friday.
one, I do suggest drinking more water.
two, pregnancy brings along sinus trouble; therefore, I would tend to sleep with my mouth open.. which made my lips super dry! lol - I tried to make sure I put on chapstick before bed..
three, depending on your environment, your sensitive skin/lips could be reacting to the weather & stuff. I live in SC.. it's hot/humid/dry most days.. and my lips suffer! it wasn't as noticeable during the day because I was obviously up, drinking, licking them, etc. but at night they weren't getting the same moisture.. hence why I started wearing more chapstick.
hope that helps! all in all, it's normal.. maybe vaseline isn't what's best for you. try to find a good chapstick.. I use "soft lips" & I love it! I also heard burt's bees has good products, but I've never used it. good luck!! ((:
I live in SC too... this weather is crazy and lips stay dry as well... I stay putting on carmex and lip gloss.
yes, yes it is.. too unpredictable!! lol chapstick is a SC girl's best friend! ((:
My lips are dry right now... where's my carmex lol!
Im 30wks and have dry lips and so thirsty. I drink so much water i wake up every hr to pee, but cold water is so refreshing. I put chapstick too, but it's all bc of horomones and this heat! Try having a fan or ac on
carmex lol I used that stuff so much growing up I hate it now.. it works! BUT I love my soft lips chapstick.. mine were peeling this morning!! "/
You're probably dehydrated. But chapstick is nice.
Its probably a sign of dehydration. Drink more water & keep chapstick next to the bed
