due date?

I have pcos. Last period was July 2012. Normal cycle for me is between 52-56 days. Discovered today that I'm pregnant! We have been trying for close to 5 years! So as over joyed as I am, I have no clue on how to determine my due date! Pregnancy test has me at 4-5 Weeks pregnant so I'm assuming mid September? Will be making a doctors appt in the next couple of Weeks. If anyone had any experience with this, please share!

Generally if you have no idea when you conceived, your Dr. will schedule you for one ASAP as it's important to establish a time frame for your pregnancy.  I had one at my 1st prenatal appointment... and I was 8 weeks pregnant

Very happy for you! I'm struggling with being excited because I'm terrified of having a miscarriage and I know that with pcos the risk of miscarriage is greater. As of right now I believe I'm just over 4 Weeks and I'm very excited as is my husband but we don't want to share the news with our families to soon because we are scared we will lose it. Did you have any early anxieties?

Ok that's what I thought. How soon do they do an ultra sound?

I too have PCOS. My last period was in July 2012. I found out in Nov that I was pregnant.  They have done 2 ultra sounds now and my EDD is July 8. This would put me getting pregnant at the beginning of Oct. Now of course for me going a few months without a period is normal. So the best thing to do is get an ultra sound.

You will have to wait and see what the measurements of the baby show via ultrasound and trust it along with the blood test results.
