You bleed the same. The only difference is if you have a c section sometimes your scar will leak. I would go with always overnight. Get the thickest pad your can find because you are going to bleed like no ones business. Also the hospital will give you some but they won't have wings on them. So they will move alot.
I've had two c-section and bled for 6 weeks with my first and about 3 to 4 weeks with my second. If you do have a c-section a dress is much more comfortable than pants immediately afterwards.
The hospital I delivered at had ice pack pads I'd take one and put it in my bag before hollering for more . They really help especially at home
I haven't had a c-section but friends have, u bleed bout the same as vaginal delivery after all a baby is coming out of ur uterus either way. So pack loose fitting comfy pants nothing tight. And if u want to pack pads go for it I did I didn't like the ones at the hospital. Good luck
A friend of mine had one baby vaginally and the other c-section and she said she bleed about the same amount with both. The hospital should provide you with all the pads you need and some to take home. I am only packing pads because I want to use cloth ones not disposables
Hmm I kind of forgot but my cousin and I just spoke and she was telling me hw she isnt bleeding much after her csection. Even with natural I dnt really remember bleeding too much it was more like a period. Some days is more than others maybe the first couple of days then it gets less and less.
I was thinking more along the lines of clothes and such. But I was curious if you tend to bleed more one way as opposed to the other
They will give you the pads at the hospital And pretty much everything actually. I didn't use not one thing in my hospital bag. But my tooth brush and phone charger
