I had my son at 35wks and he only had 1wk nicu but i found it pretty hard having a prem. This pregnancy I had my gallbladder out at 21wks. I was terrified as i had to have a general anesthetic and an abdominal xray which I had been told was bad during pregnancy and they told me baby was too early to try to save so if it went wrong I was their primary concern, but it went fantastic, I was home the day after and recovery was only 3-4wks. They did say tho I had to do it then as after 26wks baby is too high up. I was on the strict fat free diet as well and felt pretty good on it. If I was in your position I would wait and try to get baby to 38wks and have the surgery after delivery.

My son was born at 35 weeks. I had low fluid and my placenta wasn't working well anymore. He was in the nicu for a month.

They may not induce. Your baby can live outside the womb at 35wks. Drs like to push it as far as your can. But im at 14wks and JUST had my gallbladder out because there is the chance you could go sceptic.
They nay suggest operation while pregnant which isn't ideal and Could cause labor(not 100%) they don't like to cause all our stuff is squished and your so close anyway. They may induce you and do your surgery after birth which is probably safest for you and baby.
