Has anyone tried it??

So I started drinking Organic Raspberry leaf tea today. It was recomended to me by some friends who also drank it and it helped start up there contractions. Im 36 weeks today and im going to be induced the 28. So im trying to go natural before. Has anyone tried this tea and did it help you?

I drank 3-4 cups of it a day for about two weeks before delivery. I think it helps but prob works different in everybody, I think it helped me efface but never brought contractions on. It is really good for your uterus though. I think pineapple helped my labor start or she was just ready. I had a vanilla ice cream and pineapple milkshake the night before my due date, and my water broke at 4am the next morning. Who knows for real though, babies come when they are ready to. But it certainly wont hurt to drink the tea.

It probably won't help THAT much... From my understanding you'd need to be drinking about 3 cups a day (steeped properly for 10 to 15 minutes) for most of the 3rd trimester... I'd say drink a lot if you want any effects from it!

Also, if it's not a medical reason you're getting induced and you don't want the induction, why don't you just say no? By the 28th won't you only be 39 and a half weeks or so? You can just refuse it if you like...

I would wait to get induce at 28 if ur schedule since if u deliver b4 the 28 weeks the likelihood of the baby having complications from organs not being developed is way higher percentage. At 28 it reduces alot so don't try to make the odds worse.
