early pregnancy bleeding???

This is my fourth pregnancy and it seems rocky to me! My first two had no complications ever, third pregnancy went well although I never gained weight...baby was growing but I weighed less @ 8 months then before pregnancy!  Third pregnacy ended at 35wks+5days due to placental abrupture...babygirl didnt survive. Fourth pregnacy..Im 8 weeks in and have to be on progesterone due to low levels...had never heard of this...cramping a couple weeks ago..they dismissed it after ultrasound...saying all looked well...I reduced progesterone to one pill a day...cramping stopped.  Yesterday I went to restroom...and was bleeding. Covered my panties and shorts,  looked in toilet to find clots of tissue-like substance...brought in to dr..had ultrasound...my baby is fine and they threw away clotting after seeing baby...SO CONFUSED...dr says its ok ...its normal..but I need to take it easy and not do much! Is this a miscarriage in the making?

I spotted for 12 days straight and had actual bleeding one day at around 6 weeks in this pregnancy. It scared me really badly because i had 2 miscarriages before this. I went in for ultrasound and baby was fine. I did have a separate pocket of fluid in my uterus and they said that was probably where blood was coming from. It was just an isolated pocket of fluid, maybe left over from previous period or something. Bleeding eventually stopped and i am now 31wks.
