eczema after pregnancy

Never had eczema before, but hubby does so I know that's what it is. I am 3w and 2 days post delivery with my DD. I have a patch on my shin all of a sudden. Any idea on why I have this breakout all of a sudden? Anyone else go through it? Is it sticking around forever?

Other than the whole spare placenta thing good lol. Trying to move the current youngest from crib to toddler bed before baby comes has been..... fun. Lol

Thank goodness it won't last. Baby is good..doc wasn't thrilled it took 2 1/2 weeks to get to birthweight but we made up the difference after that. She had an eye issue, a cyst but its gone. Um trying not to over do things after the c section and failing. LOL How's things on your side?

Mayonnaise hair masks. Or rinse with vinegar. Both are awesome if the dandruff comes back. :)

Ive had eczema flare ups during pregnancy. I hope i dont have it afterword. There are creams over the counter that are real Good if its bothersome. But yea it happens bc of the hormones, before my outbreak now it had been 10 years since my last one. And I had very bad dandruff to, nothing worked for it. Thank god this has gone away in my second trimester.

Lol...nope it won't be around forever. You can thank your plummeting hormones for changes to your skin. It's like the whole 9 months wasn't enough and pregnancy has to get in a few last digs. My skin goes haywire after all of my deliveries too. How are mommy and baby?! Besides the eczema? :)
