emotional support

I'm 3 months pregnant and haven't even told majority of my friends or family. Simply because the people I did tell had the most awful response. Is it so much to ask for someone to jump up and down and be excited. I'm 26 years old I'm in stable loving long term relationship everything is perfect I do t understand why everyone is treating me like I'm an idiot who got knocked up way too you and have no idea what I'm doing acting like it's a tragedy. I'm happy in fact i don't know if i could be more happy i have a 4 year old who i have what i think a good job with he's well adjusted well behaved and smart little boy. I'm just so hurt. Sorry for ranting just had to tell someone i don't want to tell my fiance it will just upset him

While my family is excited and supportive, my partner's family will be very harsh and judgmental. My partner is afraid to tell them that I'm pregnant because he's sure the response sent will be bad. I'm 28 and he and I have been together for 7 years. No matter how much you think your life is good, someone is bound to be a naysayer. I'm sorry that the reactions have been bad so far, I understand not wanting to tell people who will just bring you down when you're so excited. For what it's worth, I'm happy and excited for you. I'm almost three months myself, so we'll be due around the same time. Be happy for your precious gift and don't let the buggers get you down.

I'm 14 weeks and have only told my husband and my parents and 2 friends. His family doesn't know or any of our other friends. I don't need his families rude comments and I kinda like having it to ourselves. As long as you two are happy and excited that's all that matters. You have raised what sounds like an awesome 4 yr old! Good luck with the new baby!
