I'm suppose to be 8weeks pregnant, 2 weeks ago I saw my doctor for the first time he did an ultrasound and gave a due date of 9/28/14 he wanted to come in 2 weeks because he I was too early and he couldn't see a heart beat so I come in this 2nd time and now he tells me there's no baby in the sac I was where did it go??? So he tells me that there's a possibility I had a misscariage how is that possible when I only like had spotting for 2 days that was after having my pap smear which is normal and the spotting was only when I wipe right now he is going hcg quant hormone level first level is 16948 right now I'm waiting on my 2nd level results

2nd opinion. My friend had that with her son. She was freaking out because they said there was no baby. Obviously there was because he just turned 1!

I would definitely go for a second opinion, but it sounds like you had a blighted ovum.

I think you should go for a second optinion frpm another ultrasound tech or doctor

Did they at least see your yolk sac, but no embryo or was your sac completely empty.
