I had the episiotomy with my 2 kids (I think it just for thr money) do I need to have it this time too or can I tell my Dr not to do it and risk that the baby does it worse?

I read you can have your partner do a massage to help those muscles down there stretch during labor. I don't want either. Go to YouTube and look at first video called perineal massage It shows you how to do it.

I had a second degree tear and an episiotomy with my first. With my second I had an episiotomy. I hurt for weeks with my first. With my second I didntf have any feeling in my legs for two months post partum, but I didn't have any vaginal pain post partum. I'm not sure if it was just numb, I just didnt have any pain, or if my son being in the nicu and my leg situation just had me too stressed to acknowledge the pain.

You can request that they not cut you. I had an on call ob with my son and he was mad that I had labored for 24hrs and just cut me bc he was in a hurry.

You can definitely request they don't do it. It heals much better and faster if you tear instead.

I would tell them no.  I never had one though, Ive had small tears with all 3 of mine, but would prefer that to them cutting me!

You can opt out of the episiotomy. I had one with babies 1&3. Tore with number 4. But nothing with number 2. And baby 2 was my largest. So there is hope :)
