excessive weight gain?

I entered my weight for my 13 week update and it is telling me my weight gain is excessive. Is 6 pounds at 13 weeks pregnant truly excessive? Makes me want to skip lunch and dinner today :(

Thank you everyone! I think I'm just going to stop entering my weight! My doctor hasn't said anything about my weight so I am assuming all is well :)

Everyone gains weight differently. With my first I gained almost 75 lbs... I didn't eat any different.I didn't have ankles, I had elephant feet. But this pregnancy I am 37+4 and so far have gained only 24 lbs. Again eating the same. I'm not retaining water this time around. Try to stay away from the salt and just keep up with your weekly exercise rules, you will be fine!

Six pounds doesn't sound excessive to me. That weight tracker thing doesn't take into account normal fluctuating weight, or water weight...I've been drinking tonnes more water than I used to, becausey body is craving it, but I'm actually eating less overall than I was before I got pregnant (because I cut junk food out). Even so, I've put in 3 to 5 pounds weight gain when the max limit for me right now is two. Even before I was pregnant, I fluctuated an average of 5 pounds over the course of the day. If you're eating healthy, and the right amount, and getting so.e exercise, I think you'll be fine.

No its not excessive! I'm having twins and trying to make 24 lbs by 24 weeks so my risk of preterm labor will be low. And.... it also says my weight is excessive. Just go with what your Dr says.
