Is it bad to lay on my side?

Not at all! It's recommended, especially to lie on your left side for better blood flow. Lying on your back can cut oxygen off to the placenta, giving the baby less oxygen. If you've been lying on your back, though, don't worry! Your baby is fine.. This is just things the doctors decided to warn us about on recent years, so no stress!
