nauseous while pregnant

Hi everyone. I'm about 7 weeks pregnant and I'm nauseous day and night. I can't keep anything down, not even water. Should I be concerned? I went to the ER couple days ago and they said it was fine. I'm worried

Talk to your Dr. They gave me reglan which is a safe anti nausea medication. They gave it to me for its side affect which was hormone induced migraines which would come with the nausea. It's worth a conversation. My sis in law was given a different anti nausea med with her 4 pregnancies. I don't remember the name though.

I was the same. Not even water chips sandwiches. Nothing. I ended up getting some nausea tablets from the docs which are completely safe to baby. I feel fine now. Still off my food a little but I can eat better and actually cope with a food shop!

a trick for keeping food and water down is smaller ammounts and eating and taking small sips of water or eating crystallized ginger when a wave of nausia strikes.  I swear by ginger when I get nausia even if someone just has the flu and the sugar on it can also help settle the stomach all things count as drinkable fluids but flat ginger all with a high concentration of ginger works the best.  Of ginger ale doesn't work try flat cola.  coca cola syrup is sold at most stores and that would help with nausea.  When in doubt check the caffine content and try pedialyte or sports drinks as they can be helpful and replace the electrolytes lost in vomiting and prevent dehydration to boot.  Always remember stay sitting up after eating or drinking and small sips work better than taking a big gulp of water as well as heating any cold liquids in the microwave for 20 seconds as warmer fluids stay down better than very hot or very cold.
