My youngest is 2 and she started using the potty for like 3wks straight. We bought her new big girl under wears and everything and then all of sudden she wants nothing to do with the potty!! I don't know what happened. She was doing so good!
Me and my boyfriend always let my son watch us go on the potty. EVERY TIME I changed him I said, "you need to use the potty like a big boy." I also had a potty his size so he could kinda feel it out. My son turned two in May and is potty trained except for during the night SOMETIMES. Its possible but lots of hard work. Every half hour ask him, "do u need to use the bathroom?" Regardless if he says yes or no put him on his potty or the big potty. They say kids will potty train when they are ready. I believe its about being consistent. Good luck!
Maybe get one of these toddler seats you can put on the toilet?
Make him....put him on the toliet and tell him he cant move until he pee pee (remember your mama not him) and when he finally pee pee make a big deal out of it with yayssss and good job big boy...but they really get the hang of it at 3
Im right with u! Once in a while my son lets me know that he has to use the big boy toilet n i praise him when he does n he loves it i try not to force him too much anymore cuz its getting harder for me to bend down n pick him up I've heard boys r potty trained by the time they r four! I hope it gets easier!
Let him be free with out diapers of pull ups and when pee goes down his leg he will know that's nasty let him know it's nasty and make him sit on the potty every 30 min and no drinks 2 hrs before bed!
Some kids aren't ready before they are 3. Boys tend to train later than girls. You may find he'd regress back to nappies anyway with the new baby in the house.
