short cervix and possible preterm labor..

Don't know what to think. Beyond worried for my daughter. Met with my second doctor today to discuss my short cervix and now I'm on bed rest, have to take prometrium capsules vaginally at night before bed, and have to do weekly visits to monitor my cervix. If my it shortens anymore then I'll be on hospitalized bed rest. I'm 22 weeks and I just hope I don't go into preterm labor. I'm praying I can carry to at least 37 weeks..

Really? That's good to hear your daughter turned out okay after being born so early. You just made me feel a lot better. Thank you.

Don't worry.  I had my daughter at 25 weeks,  she was 2 pounds even, and is turning 6 in a couple of weeks.  I prayed and had faith, and everything was fine. I was on strict bed rest and had a Cervical Cerclage at 16 weeks.  Back then they didn't have all of these progesterone pills and vaginal inserts like you have.  All will work out.
