Overcoming fear... Its normal to feel anxious and scared when something new is going to happen. Realize that when you go through anything you have in your life, you handled it. When things went your way or didn't, you handled it. So when you come up with "what if questions" know you will handle it. You can't predict what will happen but you can realize you are capable. If you ask yourself "what if," answer the question to yourself in what you think you would do. Stop the tailspin of questioning by answering the question. You may still feel fear but you realize what you are capable of by just taking things as they come.

I'm 6 weeks now. Also will be my first. I was feeling the exact same way.... scared! The more I talked to friends and family about their experiences the better I felt. Also this app helps to ease some worries you might have, definitely has helped me! Good luck to you mama! Congrats :)

The book "pregnant bible" is great, has week by week breakdowns and all the info you could ever want about pregnancy, birth and new babies!!

Take each day as they come until it's started to sink in. If you have questions ask your Dr as theyknow best! Remember each pregnancy and woman is different and not to compare to much!!

Read some pregnancy related books like what to expect when you are expecting, browse the internet to find out about first trimester problems, ask your friends about their experiences who are pregnant or delivered a baby recently.
