good news maybe?
So I've noticed recently that whenever my bf and I go by jewelry counters anywhere he's looking at the shiny stuff especially the rings. He's not one to look at jewelry usually and tries to avoid marriage talk at all possible moments but maybe there's hope! I am so unsure of what to think about it so I just kinda ignore it and act like I haven't noticed. I mean it's not like I'm dragging him over like babe look at this that and the other ya know. I'm just curious as to any mamas thoughts
That's awesome!!! Yeah my man knows I'm not big fan of super shiny expensive things like diamonds and such. I'm a simple kinda girl but I've looked without him and I know what I want but I'll let him choose whatever he feels is right. I'll love it Anyway since its from him
That is very exciting! I remember looking at rings with my hubby, he made sure he said that we werent getting engaged yet (wed only been together about 16 months at the time) but he wanted to know what I liked. I ended up finding a gorgeous ring that I fell in love with kite-set princess cut center stone, with a round cut diamond on either side and pave set diamonds around the band. Well of course I was thinking that i d have to let it go since he wasn't planning on getting the ring. Two months later he proposed, with that exact ring! I couldn't believe it.
Awww that's so cute! Yeah I'm just waiting. I'm not pushing the possibility of it since we've both agreed that a baby isn't a reason for marriage but plenty of his family ask us about it so it's not an uncommon subject but I feel hell do it when he's ready to.
My hubby was the same. And when we did look at rings he always looked at princess cut diamonds. Not my style at all plus I hate diamonds and wanted a sapphire in a vintage setting. And he hated sapphires.
Eventually tho when he was ready. He popped the question with a beautiful banquette cut sapphire that he found at an antique store. It was me in a box:) he knew it and I knew it.
