first pregnancy....problems

I'm 9 weeks into my first pregnancy and I'm so nervous. I am a hypothyroidism case and polycystic ovarian syndrome. I've been told I'm very lucky I even got even got pregnant. I'm trying not to let stress into my life because it's not good for my baby but I'm so worried. Ever since I found out I was pregnant I've had horrible dreams about losing the baby. What can I do?

I was told the same thing.  I told them that I didn't care I should be able to celebrate the little ones life when I can and enjoy being pregnant because you never truly know what the future holds. Sadly with that pregnancy of mine I did lose the baby but I have all the precious memories I made with that first pregnancy and know what to look for in the future.
I promise there is a sun after the rain too I am currently pregnant again I miscarried in February and I'm now 16 weeks 6 days along with another unexpected miracle. And don't worry about the hypothyroidism I have had an under producing thyroid for years it is not anything that can really do any damage to the baby just keep it in check with your doctor for your own health. So smile relax and breath all will turn out the way it needs to and enjoy every moment of your pregnancy it's a beautiful and wonderful thing that no one can ever take from you because you are a beautiful and strong women and mommy-to-be.

For a close family member to say something like that is disgusting. I'm so  sorry. Keep positive people around, talk like that has no place during this amazing time.

Ignore them. How dare they say things like that. If you have made it this far, youll make it plenty more im sure!

I was told today by a close family member that I shouldn't get too excited about my baby or decorate or anything because I might miscarry or have a still birth. Thing is she is due in December and I've been very supportive....this is how I'm treated.

Hi ladies! I also have hypothyroidism, and i am now almost 29 weeks. Make sure your doctor is doing routine blood tests (every three months for me ) to check thyroid levels. I had a little bit of a dip when i just started me second trimester, but thankfully my doctor caught it and adjusted my perscription accordingly.  My best advice to you is enjoy the pregnancy, and keep the worries in a safe place. As long as your medication is the correct amount, you and baby will be fine! Good luck :)

I'm 6 weeks and also have hypothyroidism. I was stressing after I first found out I was pregnant, but not much anymore. What's helped me is exercising (running and yoga) and focusing on eating well. The dreams are reflecting what you're stressing about. Try to let go of the stress and focus on taking care of you and your body. I highly recommend light yoga or breathing exercises to help relieve stress. A little bit goes a long way!

Pray. Stay in prayer and ask for protection over the baby. Believe in God's power, mercy and grace! Whatever is meant to be, will be. Nothing is impossible with God!
I'm 36 weeks, with my lil miracle doing fine. I didn't think I could get prego. All praise goes to God!
