I was about 5 to 10 lbs overweight when I found out that I was pregnant.  I'm have gained 7 lbs and im 16 weeks. Is it safe to start working out safely to tone or just wait for baby to b born?

I actually worked out at curves before getting pregnant, and my doc said it was just fine to keep going at my first appt (8 wks). While I had nausea, it really helped that, and it really helps getting some energy back.

You can exercise. Like walk, jog, elliptical machine, some lifting but no more than like 5-10 lbs. No an work outs and drink lots of water and if you feel tired take a break do not push yourself take it easy.
