fit mama healthy baby

Ladies what are you doing to stay in shape and to keep the pregnancy weight gain under control?

I try to mix up the following routines 3-4 days a week:  walk 2-3 miles during lunch break at work with 3-5 lbs. hand weight, combo of walk/run 3 miles on treadmill varying the incline, 30-45 minutes on ellipital,  tone arms/legs with 8-10 lb dumbells. I want to get back into Saturday morning zumba and cant wait to swim when our community pool opens on memorial day.

I'm 21+5 weeks and have gained 8lbs all baby so far. I eat fresh fruits greek yougurt veggies salads lean protien soup for breakfast or lunch but sometimes splurge for dinner and eat whatever I'm craving thats when I get a taste of junk food, ice cream and occasionally a coke but in moderation :)

I was sticking with my high intensity workout programs but my spd put a stop to that so now I do pregnancy yoga and love it.

I honestly have just chased around my 21 month old. That seems to work pretty well. I had only gained about 9 pounds by 20 weeks or so but I was walking 2 miles about 3-4 times a week pushing a stroller. I am having a hard time still walking since I'm 35 weeks now and I get worn out quickly. I have gained 26 pounds which I'm happy with. My goal was no more than 30 pounds so I'm close but feel good. Everyone if shocked when I tell them I only have 5 weeks left because I'm really not showing that much but all my weight gain is in my belly.

I do yoga and Pilates 4 days a week about 30 mins a day. I just avoid highly processed foods, soda, and fast food. I'm 16 weeks now and have gained a few pounds but I did the same routine and diet with my first and gained a total of 18 lbs with her (all gone by 2 weeks postpartum). I'm aiming to do the same with this one!
