food cravings and gender?

Im 34 and 8 weeks along with my first.  I just argued with my grandma about this.  I told her all I want to eat is plain fat free greek yougart with either fruity pebbles or one of the rice chex varieties (Cant do gluten).  Gramma swears that im having a girl due to craving dairy carbs and sugar. Thinking about meat makes me really sick to my stomach. Any truth to grammas old wives tale? did I just argue with gramma for no reason?

I'm pregnant with a girl 32 weeks on Tuesday and I love milk, cereal,yogurt, and chocolate. But I eat other stuff too, more fresh like things likes fruits vegetables and poached/baked chicken. I think it just depends on the person.

It went like that for me with my boy I craved savory and meats with my girls it was biscuits and sweets :) xx

Lol Idk if there is any truth to the old wives tale but I'm pregnant with a boy and any dairy product makes me sick... Whereas before I got pregnant I loved dairy

I would say it's just an old wifes tale.my cravings in my 2 pregnancies were totally different from each other and both are girls :)

For me thats how it went.. i have 3 girls wanted cheese and milkshakes all the time, and im 26wks pregnant with my 2nd boy and Its chicken and bacon burgers for both boys!
