food stamps question?

Hello I have a question i live with my mother in law and my boyfriend and she takes food stamps I was wondering if 2 people in the same house can take food stamps she's on her budget and I want to go and get food stamps for the baby and me and create my own budget I was on my mothers budget before . Can I do it or is it impossible ?

When I lived with family I was counted as separate household cause I bought prepared food separately for me and my son xcept for every once in a blue moon my son and I dont eat things they eat why meals were bought and prepared separately they never could qualify they made five dollars too much reason why I aplied for them was aproved for me and son no way they could of afforded buying food they eat and foods me and my son eat  they were already helping us out with shelter clothes etc. Due to me losing my job and having issues findings a new one so was not gonna ask for food help too from them and my pride was not gonna stop me from getting government assistance if I needed it

Yes..you just need a note from her that states you buy and cook your food separately
