for the ladies who already know gender, we need ur help! :)

Question

Would any of you that already know the gender of your baby be willing to do the baking soda test, then comment the results and let us know if it's right or wrong? Lol I know it may sound silly, but those of us who don't know the gender of our little one yet are curious as to how accurate this test might be!
This is how it works:
Put about 2 tablespoons of baking soda in a cup. Then pour in urine. It is said that if it fizzles, you are carrying a boy. If it stays flat, you are carrying a girl.
I realize nothing is 100% until birth, but I have read some studies that say this test has more right results than wrong ones!

The Chinese gender chart said boy... the string thing said boy... and unfortunately I have no baking soda... only baking powder. ... but im sure having a girl... ive had ultraounds every 2-4 weeks for the last 10 weeks. .. been told by 5 different ultraound techs that its still a girl

If your urine makes baking soda fizz, it just means you have slightly acidic urine. It has to do with your diet rather than the sex of your baby. Sorry, ladies :( but if it happens to predict correctly, it's because you have a 50/50 chance of being right.

Im gonna try the baking soda test when I get home and see if it is right. But I was so sure I was having a girl. Everyone told me I was wrong. Chinese prediction chart said boy. Some old wives tales say if u crave salty things its a boy, if u have little or no morning sickness or don't throw up at all its a boy, if u look beautiful and glowing and little acne its a boy. And let me tell u all those things were true for me but it took two gender ultrasounds to convince me it was actually a boy!

I did the ring n string test n it has been right for everyone of my kids...I've also done it with my 2 best friends that have both been pregnant as the same time as me before we knew what were having and mine went back n fourth there's went in circles I had boys n they both had girls

Drano (draino?) Test is where you put your pee in drano and it will change color. I think itll turn green for boy or a brown for girl. Not entirley sure lol
You need to do it in a ventilated area though. Powerful enough to unclog drains.... you can imagine it is quite smelly and gives off fumes!

I did it months ago. It said girl. It is most definitley a boy though. Chinese Gender Chart was wrong. Drano test was wrong. Every single test said girl and I was so sure itd be a girl. There is no denying his boy parts. Ive had 3 ultrasounds that confirm it

I did my test with a gold ring and chain that both had centimental value :) I put the ring on the chain (made sure the chain was straight) held it above my tummy and asked if I was having a girl. It goes in circles if a girl and sways for a boy and it was right Im having a girl :)
