breastfeeding

Okay so this will be my second baby I'm due in August and really want to bf exclusively but I didn't have luck last time due to him being preemie and having a poor latch, does it get easier with each pregnancy?

I would get the sheild that lisha is talking about but only keep it reserved for when u are really sore and need a bit of a break it may still take some time cuz its a learning process for u and the new lo but it gets better watch all the videos u can and read up on it. Also a lactation consultant can help out quite a bit (helped me alot) or le leche league in ur area. Good luck momma

My first baby I could only bf for 2 months due to low supply (didn't know how to get it back up again back then). My second baby is now 4 months old and ebf with no issues. It really does get easier. I also have more knowledge about breastfeeding this time around which really does help! Read Read Read! Join the breast feeding forum as well. Lots of experienced bf mommies in there that are a great help! I'm in there as well.

I'm hoping for the same thing I quit last time due to it was so painful I've been told yes it will hurt at first but if you push through it it gets better

It does get a little easier unless you have a difficult child.  But there is a breast nipple that you could buy at babies-r-us. It's a plastic nipple like the ones on bottles but it fits on your breast to make it easy for the baby to latch on. The baby will think it's av regular bottle.

I have heard its really hard with preemies. Hopefully with this baby it will work out! My son was full term and had a good latch so I have no advice.. just wishing you luck!
