6 cm dilated
So 2 weeks ago I was 3 cm, last week I was 5 cm and now as of Friday I'm a loose 6 almost 7. I've had some painless contractions but nothing consistent. I'm 38+1. I'm not in a particular rush to get her out but I thought she would be here by now. It seems unusual to be so dilated and not in labor.
Thanks all. I almost think it would be better not to know. Then I would be anticipating it. No one at my doctors office thought I would make it to my last appointment. They wouldn't even schedule my next appointment. She said I can call and schedule it Monday if I haven't had her yet.

I feel ya momma. Im 5 cm and 90% effaced. Im 37+4. Im having contractions 4-10 minutes apart most of the time. They just arent staying consistent. Except my hospital said they would admit me if i hit 6cm or more and break my water! I can't believe they're letting you stay out! Once it happens, its probably gonna happen fast!

Wow :-) your over half way thats pretty impressive. You seriously cant be to much longer. In the UK we dont really get checked until we hit our due date and then we get offered a sweep. I cant imagine being sent home so dilated. I agree with the above post try and have a nice hot bath and try and keep active to help you along even more. Best of luck xx
My hospital will admit you if you are past 5cm.. I couldn't imagine walking around that dilated! Bless your heart.. Hopefully, it won't be too much longer for you....... You never know, it could happen tonight, tomorrow, etc.
I would be trying to get the last minute rests in.. It'll help when you go into labor.. You'll need it :)

It can happen hun then sometimes the contractions come all at once try a nice hot bath n relax as much as possible incase the come on all of a sudden xx good luck xx
