How many months pregnant am I? Rant/Question

My husband and I have been arguing about this pretty much since I got pregnant. I know i'm 15 weeks. The pregnancy calculator says I started my fourth month last week. My husband is saying "there's no way that you're more than most of the way through the third month" according to 'common sense'. Can someone please clear up how the pregnancy weeks/months are calculated because all I want to do right now is wring my husband's neck. I don't understand why he can't accept that this is how pregnancy is calculated and throw his stupid 'common sense' out the window.

And for your due date its count 3 months back from the first day of your missed period and add a week.

I just count back from due date. 26Sep I'll have exactly 3mths to go til due date so currently in my 6th month.

The lunar method is easier to go by.  Find out what method your doctor uses.

They add it up stupid... the other ladies are right 16 weeks is four months... the pregnancy sites try to say there is like three weeks in one month six weeks in another and so on... I just go by the commonsense four weeks in a month...

Omg. No you're right you start your 4th month at 14 weeks. I even have a pregnancy weeks to months chart that my health insurance company sent me. I also have it in my journals. All you have to do is Google image pregnancy weeks to months chart and all the charts will tell you. So your husband is wrong. Women count by 4 because its easier and they don't consider the extra days of the month.

Count back from your due date. And there are 4 1/2 weeks in a month. At 15 weeks you are still only 3 months and 1 week

Every 4 weeks equals a month if you use the lunar month method.

I calculate by multiplying by 4. If you were 16 weeks, you would be 4 months.
