gallbladder..??

So I have to get my gallbladder removed I had it for over a year and a half now I got it when I was pregnant with my daughter because of all the crazy hormonal changes, an now I'm pregnant again 11 weeks, note this bby wasn't planned because I was going to get my gallbladder removed May 1st, n the day before my surgery they tell me I'm pregnant, I had/have no pregnancy systems, n I still somewhat got my period but I was breastfeeding my daughter, so it was light,
Have any of u mommas gotten it removed while pregnant..? My doctor says it's fine but their is a chance of losing my baby, I don't know what to do I'm in so much pain all the time with this,
Any advice..??

I was told it's best to be done in the second trimester. I had a major attack at 30 weeks and the surgeon refused to take it out.

I discovered i had gallbladder issues while about 5 weeks pregnant this time and my surgeon is making me stick it out.  He didnt want to risk it unless we absolutely had to which i was all for.   I saw him every 4 weeks throughout my pregnancy and have suffered through attacks. I have had to stick to a boring and bland diet to avoid being hospitalized and am having surgery at about 6 weeks after baby once i am medically cleared. I am from Canada where we have free healthcare so we seem to only have surgery when it is absolutely necessary otherwise i would be waiting in a long waiting list. My thoughts are if you made it a year and a half what is another 9 months.  Just my 2 cents though! Maybe get a second opinion if you are concerned. I am not suggesting that you dont need surgery but maybe it can wait?  I believe he told me there is only a 5% chance of a misscarriage but we both werent willing to risk it.

I had my gallbladder removed last October and was pregnant but didn't know till a few weeks after the surgery. I am now 32 weeks with our first son. Just make sure they give you drugs that don't affect the baby. And take it easy after the surgery so you heal fast...don't try and be a superman like I did...make others do for you!
