lower uterine segment

I m 19 weeks preg with my first child during my usg at 13 weeks my doctor diagnosed a low lying placenta with a distance of 11 mm from internal os..now yesterday i have anomaly scan everything is normal and placenta is posterior dipping into the lower  uterine  segment with a distance of 30mm from internal os..can anybody tell me is This still a serious problem?

Was it checked transvaginally?  If it was done accurately, you are in the clear. Placenta edge should be 20mm or greater from the internal is. As your pregnancy progresses it will move even more. No worry.
