gestational diabetes and insulin

I started the insulin almost a week ago. Today I noticed that my injection sites are bruising. Just wondering how common it is or if I'm doing something wrong? I see my doctor in a week and just wondering if this is something I should call him about?

I didn't have bruises as I switched around the sides where insulin was injected. Also, baby movement changes all the time, not necessarily the result of insulin. For me, the weird thing for insulin was the week b4 delivery,I don't need to rely on insulin at all. I was back to normal all a sudden. Dr. Said it was normal as the placenta wasn't working as well *** b4 as I close to the end. Good luck!

Bump

Also wondering if anyone's baby had decreased movement after starting insulin?
