Yeah, I think saying they are painless is nonsense. Including myself, I've heard many women say theirs were painful like period cramps. I would just watch the timing of them.
They sound like braxton hicks . they say they're not suppose to be painful but seriously sometimes I get some that are real pain full and very uncomfortable. Just try and keep very hydrated
BH are very uncomfortable and can be a bit painful but you can sleep through them real contraction will hurt so bad they wake you up to the point you cant sleep or go back to sleep and if they do hurt that you cant sleep sometimes it can take about 24 hours until the become consistent...hope that helps just a few things I have learned after being on my 5th and final pregnancy
I'm 36+1 and I get them too... they feel like a really painful menstrual cramp along with the typical tightening of the stomach. I asked my dr about it and they said it's Braxton hicks. Although the pain is very real. .. they aren't considered real contractions until they begin getting stronger and closer together... like every 5 minutes on the dot.
They come and than leave and never come again........ like they are once in a blue not 5 minutes apart I wish thoe:-(
Are you timing them and seeing how far apart they are? Maybe they're the real thing
