I'm confused... Wouldn't it make sense NOT to induce and let the baby grow bigger inside to fix that problem? Or are there other issues and they're worried about something else?
@jill_nz I'm getting induced tonight as well Good Luck Sweetie
Doctors typically induce when the baby is small because they feel the baby will grow better on the outside. There is usually a reason why the baby isn't growing in utero so it's better to take them out.
The growth has slowed down and they are worried it may stop growing and since im now full term they feel it is better to induce.
@baby__3_ontheway_2015 good luck to you to :)
Ah ok... Fair enough. Good luck! It's the weirdest feeling when you suddenly realise you have this little squirmy thing in your life that you need to care for from now on! Weird but amazing too!
Congrats... I get induced by catheter on Thursday afternoon & am a ftm... my cervix isn't dilating for some reason.. good luck with your delivery & new baby!!
