I loved being induced lol! My first I was in labour for 55hrs, very painful, no pain meds including the epidural worked. I couldn't walk with it, the numerous top ups didn't work, ended up needing forceps and had a catheter in till 3 days pp. It was a horrible experience. My second I was induced at 41wks, I went in at 6am, at about 9.30am was given an epidural which I didn't really know I was getting (my partner and Dr decided for me which I had no problem at all with, I was actually thankful!), 10am they broke my waters. I could walk the whole time, could pee on my own until the last half hour so asked for a catheter just to go and had it taken straight out. Felt no pain except just massive pressure at the end, then at 10pm I pushed 3 times and he was out. I just suggest you take a phone charger, some magazines and some food coz it can be pretty boring waiting. But my experience was awesome and would do it again this time in a heartbeat if she doesn't come on her own!

Your body can go into shock as when your induced you dont build up contractions naturally.  If you want pain relief..ask for it as it can be more painful. But every woman is different...I know women who were induced and waited days to go into labour...where I went into labour straight away. Just think you will have your baby after it all. Goodluck :)
