getting my membranes sweeped next week

Has anyone else had that done before if so did u go into labor im praying i do.

Yes i had the sweep done on 3 pregnancies and i was labour a few hours later but i have been told it can take up to 2 days for it to work..best of luck

I had it done at 39 weeks with my last one. My water broke later that evening and my daughter arrived two hours later.

I had it done with my last pregnancy at 37 weeks. The Dr told me I was only 2cm and about 40% effaced. He said he would predict I would go another two weeks. Well about 6 hrs later I was admitted to a room in full labor and he came in and was like "What happened?" I did go home and walk A LOT after my appt and my sister made me a chic milkshake with 2 tsp of castor oil...... Disgusting btw!
