glucose test

Got my glucose test today and all I want is some food and a nice cuppa tea. Im so hungry and even had a dream I fainted where I must b hungry in my sleep lol. Is it safe for them to tell you not to eat for so long while pregnant?

With most fasting glucose tolerance test I think it was 10 hours only. Here when you have a fasting test the won't accept anything over 12 hours. You should have eaten before bed last night

Yeah its the 2 hr one. I do have to fast, I last ate at 4.30 pm....   its now 10am and cant eat untill 12. So hungry

It depends.  You do have to fast before the 2h one.  It's perfectly safe. Make sure it's not more than 14h though as it may affect the results!!

You shouldn't be fasting before the glucose test.. I was just told today to eat breakfast before I come in, and then once I drink the stuff I can't eat until after the test. Maybe just double check you shouldn't be eating
