Lower abdominal pain

Been having severe lower abdominal pain for a few days. Saw my OB, baby is happy. GI doc ordered some tests (I have IBS), gonna get those on Tuesday. Wondering if it's bowel related, bladder infection (except nothing came up from urine test), or just my uterus growing. Is it supposed to hurt THAT BAD? Don't think it's round ligament pain, as it is constant. It's been debilitating for a few days, and making me not want to eat. Anyone else suffer like this? Hoping it goes away soon!

They did find a fibroid so maybe that's it. Pain is easing up now, mostly just on the left side, and I can actually function! Hopefully I can find out/rule out things after the tests tomorrow, and be more careful with my diet. Thanks y'all!

I had severe cramping exactly around this time. My doctor said i have a firbroid in my uterus and probably that was degenerating due to the lack of blood flow into it. This causes tremendous pain. Did you get to know if you have any fibroids? You could ask your OB during your next visit.  :) i hope you feel better soon.. and please stay hydrated..

IBS is irritable bowel syndrome, it's nothing to worry about just means you get a lot of cramping pains in your lower stomach area! I've suffered with it for years, you can either get constipated or go to the toilet a lot! a lot of things can bring it on, stress is one of the biggest ones!! I wouldn't worry to much... :)
