glucose testing

So I had my gestational diabetes test on Monday and they called me back on Tuesday saying my sugar levels were high-- at 130-- and I have to go back on Monday to do the 3 hour test... how many moms have experienced having to do the 3 hour test and how did it turn out?? My first pregnancy was a breeze with bo complications and this pregnancy is just one thing after another.

I have failed the one hour with both pregnancies but passed both 3 hours. Hoping you get good results

I plan on bringing my ipad and phone... they have wifi... thank god... im just not thrilled to be missing sooo much work...I can take 12 weeks of FMLA and im waiting to take it all when my baby is born... but I only have soo many vacation and sick leave hours before I run out... (im full time and get paid for a minimum of 40 hours every pay check)

I had to do the 3 hr, in my opinion it was difficult. The fasting was the hardest part. Book the earliest apointment you can. Keep snacks in your bag for afterwards bc you WILL be starving. Have a book with you bc you have to get blood taken exactly one hour apart. Good luck!! I found it to be a real pain and I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes. Not fun

Try not to drink or eat sweet things the day before. I didnt drink juice, avoided sugar and breads and the next time I went in my sugar levels dropped and I passed.
