go or no?

I'm 34 weeks 1 day and I'm having contractions in my back and sides for about 3 hours now. I took a bath I had one while in there I'm resting now. I also had the second round of my steroid injection today. Should I go to the hospital or not.

Always reassuring to go I'm and just get checked and know everything is alright! :-)

Wasn't contractions but I was badly dehydrated. I drink water every day just not enough. That's what was causing cramps. Glad I went tho.

Follow the 511 rule. Contractions every 5 mins that last 1 min for at least 1hr. That is considered active labor. But it can never hurt to go in and get checked.

Unless you're having 8 or more in an hour you should be okay. Is this your first baby? Try laying on your side and drinking a VERY large glass of water (try to get several within 15 minutes or so). You're most likely having Braxton Hicks contractions, which is just your body preparing for labor. Very normal at this point!

I would go if you are having real contractionsyou don't just want to sit there and have real contractions because contractions can stress ababy out and too long in labor can cause the baby to be mentally impaired my daughter I had her at 34 weeks I started having contractions and went in but I only dilated 2 4 centimeters because I had something called the bandles ring so they had to do ac section and you can only C the bandles ring after you have a c-section but if I just stayed home with the contractions she would have been mentally retarded so I'm glad I went and my water never broke and I never lost my mucus plug
