group b strep

Any other mommys test positive? Please share stories. Did it affect the baby? Good or bad outcome?

At my obligation they test at 37 weeks, my dr said some ppl are carriers an some are not, it normally doesnt do anything to adults but can be bad for infants or some elderly ppl. I got tested wed no results yet.

Just antibiotics before you give birth, had it with my first and she's almost two and perfectly healthy

Nothing bad its just an bacteria that pregnant women carries it doesnt hurt us but can hurt baby if dont get iv with antibiotics during labor so baby wont catch it when he passes through your birth canal so make sure you let docs know when you arrive at hospital

No worries... Just antibiotics in your iv during labor

It's not as bad as you think. It just means you'll be put on an IV antibiotic during labor
