I got tested on Tuesday and got the results today came back positive anyone else go through this ? What happends next. ?

I am also positive. Mine is so prominent that i didn't even need a test. It showed up in a urine sample. It's a very simple fix though with penicillin during labor.i ended up getting a c section but i still got it anyway.

Negative for me.... its a bacteria. You Carrie in your vagina and anus.

I was positive with my 1st but had a c section so it didn't matter. I felt embarrassed but it's normal :)

Yea I just found out today I was positive also. They just give you antibiotics through your iv when ur in labor and it passes to the baby through the placenta. If you have a c section you don't have to worry about it

You will get antibiotics during labor so that the baby is protected and doesn't come in contact with it. Group beta strep can cause respiratory infections like pneumonia.

Yep just IV with anti biotics. Very common and nothing to worry about.

Had it with both of my previous pregnancies. They just give you antibiotics to protect the baby through your iv when you are in labor. It will be just fine.
