Is hair loss in pregnancy normal? Im 11 weeks and today I noticed a huge amount of hair loss after washing my hair. I have HG and have lost 24lb since being pregnant so was wondering is this normal or something I should be checking. xx

It's not necessarily normal. You could have a thyroid condition during pregnancy. I would bring this up with your doctor. They can do a simple blood test to make sure your thyroid is functioning normally. If not, it's an easy  fix.

It's normal I lost allot of hair all three pregnancies but growing twice as much as you're losing and your prenatal vitamins will help too.

Supposedly, it's normal.  It could also be from lack of nutrients though from the HG, so just make sure you're taking vitamins and trying to get what you can.
