hard lump and pain after csection??

Hey ladies, i had my second c section 11 days ago and last week I noticed my left side looks alot bigger down near my scar. I noticed a huge hard lump that hurts really bad and feels like its growing! My right side looks and feels back to normal but my left side looks so big. I went to the hospital that did my surgery and had them check me. They could clearly feel it and had no idea what it is. I had an ultrasound done but it showed nothing. The Dr is very confused over what it could b and just told me to take antiinflammatorys and heating pad and hopefully it will go away.... Well I just want to know what it could b and get rid of it since it hurts really bad! Please has anyone had this happen before or know of what it could b!!?! I'm miserable and can't live like this!!!

Thnx! I will def ask my Dr about that. I didn't know scar tissue hurt. This was my second c section, my first was 12 yrs ago at 25 wks. It was an emergency c section and since I've had an ovarian cyst but that has gone down now and the Dr said this is def not my ovary cuz its in a diff spot. I'm going to wait until my 6 wk checkup to see if it's gone down. I really hope it does and they don't have to open me back up again :(

I had a c-section last year in July and had the same problem. Turns out I kiloid scar very bad and that's what it was. It hurts constantly and I am 2 weeks from my second c-section and my scar is so gross. I am having a scar revision with this c-section and they will cut out all the scar tissue and use a different method of stitching made for kiloid scarring. I hope this helps but I would 100% go back to my doctor and ask about scar revision if they agree it is kiloiding.

It could be the start of scar tissue. I don't have a lump or any hardness but after my 1st section the one side healed differently. It's slightly more red and has more numbness on that side (even after 10 years and a 2nd section). I would say if the lump doesn't go down soon, though, to be more insistent they figure out what is going on!!! Feel better!
