has anyone taken famotidine
Im 13 weeks with really bad heartburn and indigestion. I have tried tums for a while has not worked at all. So today my ob prescribed me famotidine. Just wanted to know has anyone tried it before and does it work.
The best tip for heartburn is to have a glass of cold milk..its gives alot of relief..this really worked for me

Famotidine is Pepcid which works in the same way that Zantac works...I didn't have much luck on Zantac so now I'm on Prilosec and it works wonderfully...but famotidine is considered safer for pregnancy then prilosec...try the famotidine and if it doesn't work ask to get on a proton pump inhibitor heartburn medication rather then an H2 blocker
