Bio-Physical Profile
Have any of you ladies had a fancy ultrasound done called a Bio-Physical profile? I went in for a regular ultrasound yesterday to check the baby's position. She's breech and I guess she's been that way for quite some time. Because of this, her head is oblong shaped and measuring big for how many weeks I am. Her tummy is measuring small and my amniotic fluid is low. Any ladies have experience with this? According to the nurse I talked to today, the doctor doesnt seem too concerned, but I'm still a little worried. I'm 36+2 and will be having a c-section when I'm 39 weeks because she's breech.
I'm sorry, I don't understand what you're asking. A bpp is just a limited ultrasound that checks the baby's well-being. It tests fetal hr, amniotic fluid, fetal movement/tone, and looks for the breathing motion. I'm not sure if I answered your question but I hope you and baby continue to do well. Try not to stress yourself out. Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy.
