You can have sex, unless your doctor has told you not to or if you have a high risk pregnancy. My doctor told me not to because I've had 2 premies, one at 32 wks and the other I barely made it to 36wks(both came home with me when i was released from the hospital ). This time the doctor said once I turn 36wks I can have as much sex as I want lol. It's really only an orgasm that makes your uterus contract.

Nothing will make your baby come unless it's ready! Except medical intervention of course. I'm 41+3 & we're still having sex & nothing at all...no contractions or dilation... It's completely safe to have sex until you go into labor unless you have a medical issue or high risk pregnancy.

You can have sex right up until your waters break or your doctor has told you not to. Sex won't make you go into labour unless your body and baby is ready.
